Harmony Revival Network (HRN) is committed to fostering sustainable peace in the conflict-affected regions of Nigeria, particularly in the BAY States (Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe) and Northwestern Nigeria. Given the complex and evolving security situation in these regions, HRN's peace building initiatives are designed to address the root causes of conflict, promote social cohesion, and empower communities to be agents of peace.

Community Dialogue and Mediation

• Facilitating community dialogues to address local grievances, promote mutual understanding, and resolve conflicts.
• Training local mediators and peace ambassadors to lead conflict resolution initiatives within their communities.

Youth and Women Empowerment

• Engaging youth and women in peacebuilding activities, recognizing their critical role in fostering lasting peace.
• Providing vocational training and livelihood support to reduce the economic drivers of conflict and empower marginalized groups.

Capacity Building for Local Leaders

• Offering training and resources to traditional and religious leaders, enhancing their capacity to mediate conflicts and promote peace within their communities.
• Developing leadership programs that equip community leaders with the skills to manage disputes and foster social cohesion.

Early Warning and Early Response Systems

• Establishing community-based early warning systems to detect and address potential conflicts before they escalate.
• Collaborating with local security forces, government agencies, and international partners to ensure timely and coordinated responses to emerging threats.

Reintegration and Rehabilitation of Ex-Combatants

• Work with local and international partners to develop and implement reintegration programs for ex-combatants, ensuring they have access to vocational training, psychological support, and economic opportunities.
• Promote community acceptance and reintegration of ex-combatants through awareness campaigns and community-led initiatives.
